Toddlers

This is the stage in a child's development where they use their bodies, senses, and emerging problem-solving skills to learn about and make sense of their world.  Maria Montessori observed that children who are allowed freedom in an environment suited to their needs thrive best.

Toddlers actively seek out information and are quick to learn new skills. We allow them the freedom to learn as much as they can at their own pace as they  build self- confidence and independence. We've created an environment where everything is just the right size for your child to do things on their own.  Your child learns a set of concrete life skills and comes to understand that they can make a real impact on their world.

Our educators give toddlers responsive, individualized attention to help build skills in:

– Self-help

– Language

– Physical and Motor Skills

– Sensory and Perception

– Social and Emotional Growth

And when your little one is ready to move on to our Transition classroom, our teachers work together to make that experience comfortable and secure.
