What Parents Say

Our toddler learned so much in the short time he was here, from learning to clean up after himself, to putting on his own jacket. He became so independent thanks to the care and attention from the toddler teachers.”

Welcome!

I was fortunate to have found my passion early in life, realizing that I wanted to be a teacher when I was a young child growing up in a family of nine. I attended Brigham Young University where I majored in elementary education. I started teaching in the public school setting where I recognized some of the limitations of traditional education.  I learned of a better educational philosophy when I returned to California and discovered Montessori Education. The beautifully ordered and prepared classrooms were ideal settings for learning to take place and I appreciated the peaceful, respectful interactions with the children that are key elements of Montessori training. I could finally take the time with each child to ensure mastery of a skill before moving on, while also challenging the accelerated learners.
